Covering West Scotland, we're looking for a Site Manager to join our growing Operations & Asset Management team at Natural Power. You'll be part of a home-based team of technical professionals who ensure our wind and renewable energy sites are operating safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards. From inspections to electrical operations and emergency response, your work will have real impact - keeping clean energy assets running reliably across the UK.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Site Manager, you'll:
- Review contractor safety documentation (SSOW), conduct risk assessments, and ensure all site personnel are properly inducted and competent
- Lead site inspections, deliver routine maintenance, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations
- Manage high and low voltage electrical systems and the permit-to-work process
- Maintain key site documentation including H&S plans, maintenance records, and O&M manuals
- Participate in an on-call rota, supporting emergency and out-of-hours response
- Engage directly with clients, landowners, contractors, and grid operators to ensure smooth operations
- Support onboarding of new assets and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio
What You'll Bring
Essential:
- HNC (or higher) in an engineering or technical discipline
- Hands-on experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance or technical fieldwork
- Solid understanding of HV/LV electrical systems and health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Competent with Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently
Desirable:
- NEBOSH or IOSH H&S qualification
- Experience in the renewable energy sector
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems
- GWO certification or ability to meet fitness requirements
