Currently we are looking for: Market Risk Analyst
Your responsibilities
- Lead daily P&L explanation and translate results into key market drivers.
- Monitor and validate market risk metrics such as sensitivities, VaR, stress tests, and scenarios.
- Identify emerging risks and support early‑warning analyses.
- Improve risk processes and controls by identifying gaps and proposing enhancements.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Mid Office, ETRM/Back Office, Quant/Modelling, and Finance to ensure high‑quality data and issue resolution.
- Support pricing, hedging, and portfolio decisions with clear risk insights.
Our requirements
- Degree in finance, economics, engineering, math, or related field; CFA/FRM a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in market risk, energy/commodities, or financial services.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with quantitative concepts and risk metrics.
- Structured thinking, ownership, and continuous‑improvement mindset.
- Reliable execution and strong communication skills.
- Curiosity, problem‑solving ability, resilience, and integrity.
- Fluency in Polish and English.
