Job Description
Involved in all dredging and offshore projects worldwide, the survey department is responsible for the organisation of all hydrographic and topographic measurements in all phases of the works. We are seeking a Surveyor with a strong background in offshore and/ or dredging activities.
Your Responsibilities
- Installation and calibration of measurement devices to ensure accuracy.
- Mapping the seabed, measuring water depths (bathymetry), and providing precise positioning for construction, such as oil rigs or wind farms.
- Measuring actual dredging volumes.
- Process and interpreting measurement results using cutting edge techniques.
- Mapping the results using specific software.
- Reporting the progress of the works to the project management team.
Your Profile
- A qualified engineer, hydrographer or topographer, by preference with a specialization in survey.
- Practical knowledge of modern measurement techniques and familiar with autocad, Qinsy or similar software.
- An exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality standards and safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work in a rotational system (2:1 for dredging activities or 1:1 for offshore activities) across global locations.
