Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, experienced and highly motivated Electrician to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our installation team, you’ll be responsible for completing a mixture of solar panel installations, EV charging points installations as well as general electrical work on commercial properties.

With excellent communication skills, you’ll collaborate closely with the team to ensure that all installations meet our high standards for quality and safety. You’ll also be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring their questions are answered and they are kept informed throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Ensure all sites comply with health & safety regulations.
Install EV charging points, Solar panels, and perform general electrical work as needed.
Coordinate with the office team regarding materials and logistics for efficient project execution.
Complete installations, troubleshooting any issues prior to handover to ensure high-quality standards.
Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
Adhere to company policies and procedures while driving continual improvement in standards.
Travel to various UK sites, as the majority of your time will be spent on-site.

What you'll need to succeed

We’re looking for someone who is dedicated, professional, and passionate about delivering high-quality work. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise and excellent communication skills to the team.

Desirable

Experience in the solar PV industry is ideal but not essential – full training will be provided on solar and EV charging installations.

Basic hours are Monday – Friday 08:00-16:00 but must be happy to do additional hours and overnight stays away as required. Our current working hours are 35 a week, however these will be increasing to 40 hours from January 2026.
