The Position

Key Responsibilities
The position will perform a wide range of duties including:
Enterprise Systems & SaaS Portfolio Ownership
- Own and optimize core platforms (ERP, CRM/AML, project tools, and data systems) for reliability, scalability, and cross-functional alignment.
- Evaluate the current landscape, identify redundancies, and drive consolidation, modernization, and target architecture.
Roadmap, Governance & Change Management
- Build and deliver a multi-year enterprise systems and internal software roadmap aligned to business priorities and growth.
- Establish governance for system use, integrations, data standards, and change/release management across the organization.
- Define and track KPIs for platform health, adoption, delivery performance, and business impact.
Internal Software & Platform Development
- Lead the lifecycle of internal software, integrations, and automation (design through support).
- Set engineering standards (SDLC, CI/CD, release management) and ensure maintainable delivery.
- Maintain strong documentation standards (architecture diagrams, design specs, release notes, user guides, and support frameworks).
Data, Integrations & Reporting Enablement
- Lead integration and interoperability across the stack (APIs/iPaaS, ETL/ELT, data pipelines).
- Ensure dependable analytics and enterprise reporting through consistent metrics, definitions, and data quality controls.
- Partner on access controls and auditability (RBAC, logging, controls) across enterprise applications.
Delivery Execution, Vendors & Implementations
- Lead vendors, implementation partners, and internal teams through full lifecycle delivery (scope, quality, timelines, and accountability).
- Oversee implementations end-to-end: integration mapping, data migration planning, UAT, release management, go-live, and stabilization.
- Partner with IT to define service ownership, monitoring, incident/escalation paths, SLAs, and release cadence for enterprise platforms.
People Leadership & Adoption
- Lead and develop a team spanning BI/Analytics, Data Engineering, Software Development, and Systems Administration, driving accountability and execution.
- Partner with executives and functional leaders to translate needs into scalable solutions.
- Drive adoption through training, communications, change management, and feedback loops.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years in enterprise systems, software engineering, technical architecture, or technology leadership.
- 5+ years leading teams delivering enterprise apps, integrations, data platforms, and/or internal software products.
- Experience owning CRM or ERP/financial systems and leading multi-system implementations and modernization.
- Strong integration and data background (APIs/iPaaS, ETL/ELT, interoperability) plus delivery operations (Agile/SDLC, DevOps concepts, change management).
- Experience managing vendors/implementation partners; familiarity with security/access controls and audit requirements is a plus.

- Translates technical decisions into business outcomes, tradeoffs, and clear priorities.

- Industry exposure to renewables (Solar & BESS) or similarly complex operations.
