Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Asset Maintenance Office at Ignitis Renewables, where you'll lead the self-performance maintenance team to ensure efficient preventive and corrective maintenance of renewable energy assets, while driving operational excellence through strategy, compliance, and performance optimisation. You will contribute to a green and secure energy ecosystem by
- Leading the Asset Maintenance team by setting strategic direction, aligning departmental goals with company-wide objectives, managing team performance, and ensuring delivery of high-quality preventive and corrective maintenance across all renewable energy assets;
- Developing and implementing maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices that align with regulatory standards, equipment manufacturer guidance, and industry-leading approaches across multiple geographies and technologies;
- Overseeing the performance, availability, and OPEX of the renewable energy asset portfolio, taking ownership of operational results, budget execution, cost optimization, and corrective action planning as needed;
- Driving technological improvement by evaluating, recommending, and supervising the integration of new tools, systems, or upgrades that improve operational efficiency, maintenance practices, and asset reliability;
- Preparing high-quality operational reports and business insights to senior leadership, including technical and financial metrics, risk indicators, and improvement proposals to support strategic decision-making;
- Ensuring compliance with national regulations and internal health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting safe working conditions, and implementing robust occupational safety practices in collaboration with relevant departments;
- Planning and allocating resources to ensure workplace safety, equipment readiness, and adherence to occupational health standards, minimizing risks of accidents or work-related incidents;
- Developing business models and investment proposals related to asset maintenance and improvement plans, ensuring data-driven justifications and alignment with long-term asset strategy;
- Coordinating procurement processes for goods and services required in asset maintenance, including overseeing contract execution, vendor performance, and ensuring value-for-money in accordance with internal procedures;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to enhance asset performance, resolve technical and commercial issues, and ensure smooth communication across internal departments and relevant authorities.
Required for this position
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field;
- At least 7 years of experience in energy operations;
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership role, including managing departments or operations across multiple countries;
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy systems (e.g., PV, Wind, BESS) and their grid integration;
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex operational workflows;
- Solid stakeholder engagement and team management skills;
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities;
- Proficiency in English;
- High computer literacy, including MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), IBM Maximo, and other relevant systems.
