Job Description

Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.

How you'll make an impact

  • Leads Project team, establishes the project execution approach and overseas project handover, execution planning and monitoring and control of both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
  • Organizing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements. Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing. Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization).
  • Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget. Managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects). On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables.
  • Review of Contract receipt from Sales, develop project schedule and freeze with respective stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Preparation of project specific risk and opportunities management plan, preparation of project wise Master document list.
  • Coordination with Engg and SCM to place order on sub supplier for material procurement, coordinate with feeder factories for production plan and follow up on production progress, coordination on Stage inspections (if any).
  • Follow-up on Material shipment, material receipt at site and acknowledgment from sites for submission of Milestone billings (if any). Coordinate with stakeholders for Installation, testing and commissioning at site.
  • Scope and get approvals for time extension, additional cost etc. Project handing over, as-built drawings, commercial closure etc and collection of PAC, close out of snags & FAC.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Graduate in Electrical engineering with Min Experience of 15+ years.
  • Must have experience in project execution service industry for different product. Experience in GIS projects, Substation projects or similar project related to Design, supply installation of High Voltage equipment is most preferred.
  • Preference will be given to those who have experience working with Saudi Arabia & Middle East customers.
  • Should possess strong leadership skills and ability to convince stakeholders in the interest of the project.
  • Ability to work under pressure to deliver the projects with time, cost and quality.
  • Good communication skills.
