Job Description

At Global Wind Service, we're shaping the future of renewable energy. As a leading provider of wind turbine installation, service, and maintenance solutions, we're expanding fast and pushing boundaries in offshore wind.

We're now hiring a Technical Project Manager to support global offshore projects and help drive technical excellence in our Center of Excellence.

The role will ideally be based at one of our EU offices in DK, NL, DE, PL, RO or UK.

About the Role

As Technical Project Manager, you'll bridge project execution and commercial success. Working closely with both Sales and Project teams, you'll be responsible for high-quality technical planning, execution, and delivery across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical input for sales bids, RFQs, and tenders
  • Develop standard tools, work instructions, and best practices
  • Ensure technical quality, HSE compliance, and risk mitigation during execution
  • Act as a key liaison between clients, sales, project, and site teams
  • Resolve technical issues proactively throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with Project and Site Managers on scope and execution
  • Drive continuous improvement across technical tools, processes, and team culture
  • Travel up to 75-100 days per year to maintain strong site presence

Requirements

You're not just technically skilled-you're proactive, collaborative, and thrive in fast-paced, international environments.

What you'll bring:

  • Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong understanding of composite structures and rotating equipment
  • Experience in contract and project management, including tendering processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency with digital tools and documentation systems
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel across Europe and beyond
  • Experience in offshore wind or renewable energy is a plus
  • LEAN / Six Sigma training
