Are you comfortable driving and leading technical development projects within Service- & Blades divisions? Can you communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders?

With direct reference to our Head of Center of Excellence, you will become part of a professional project team managing various projects across Europe. We are seeking an experienced technical Project Manager to act as a technical lead throughout our value chain from Sales to Project Execution. The role will ideally be based at one of our EU offices in DK, NL, DE, PL, RO or UK.

Requirements

  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead throughout the value chain, from sales to project execution, ensuring the successful implementation of industry standard service- & blade maintenance methods.
  • Process Development: Develop specifications and processes for turbine & blade maintenance, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency incl. but not limited to work instructions, RAMS, checklists across products
  • Mechanical Testing: Lead the specification and execution of mechanical tests and process trials to verify and optimize blade maintenance methods.
  • Documentation Management: Develop, assess, digitalize, and maintain comprehensive technical documents related to turbine and blade maintenance processes, ensuring easy access and accuracy. Technically support Sales and Project Managers in front of client peers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Manage and lead continuous improvement projects with a focus on enhancing maintenance practices and processes.
  • Material and Tool Management: Develop and maintain positive lists of approved materials, tools, and consumables used in blade and WTG maintenance activities.
  • Lead research and development projects: Acting as the technical lead on process engineering to drive innovation and improvements in turbine- and blade maintenance.
  • Business Intelligence Support: Collaborate with teams to develop and enhance business intelligence tools that support maintenance activities.
  • Training Program Development: Support the development of training programs for field technicians in Blades and Service, ensuring they are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

  • Have a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or process engineering.
  • Possess a solid understanding of composite structures and their manufacturing and/or repair processes, preferably wind turbine blades.
  • Profund understanding of industrial machinery / rotating equipment mechanically and electronically, preferably within the wind industry
  • Demonstrated a track record of leading research and development projects.
  • Have excellent communication skills and can communicate your results in a clear and convincing manner.
  • Apply a structured approach to your work and can handle simultaneous assignments without losing the overview.
  • Show a flair for quickly learning and mastering documentation digitalization tools, with exceptional acumen in applying them effectively.
  • fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Commit to traveling 30-60 days a year.
