Senior Executive - Tax

Established in 2002, ib vogt GmbH is specialized in the Development, Design and Engineering, Financing, EPC and Operation of solar power and provides turnkey solar power plant solutions to investors internationally.

As a manufacturer-independent integrated developer, the company focuses on tailor-made solar power plant solutions that maximize lifecycle performance and returns.

Since 2009, ib vogt has commissioned plants with a capacity of almost 2 Gigawatt. We employ over 840 specialists, in all areas of the solar power plant value chain in over 40 countries. The company operates internationally from offices in Spain Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Poland, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Panama, India and South East Asia.

Job Description

1. Ensure accurate preparation and timely payment of monthly TDS workings.
2. File Quarterly TDS and TCS returns (Form 26Q, Form 27Q, Form 27EQ) within the statutory timelines.
3. Reconcile TDS data with financial records and address day-to-day TDS-related queries.
4. Handle new GST registration applications and addition of new addresses under existing GST registrations.
5. Prepare monthly GST returns and reconcile them with the sales and purchase registers.
6. Ensure timely filing of all GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.
7. Coordinate and manage monthly GST reconciliations between books and GST returns.
8. Monitor tax-related regulatory amendments and ensure compliance with updated tax laws.
9. Maintain working knowledge of deferred tax provisions and ensure correct accounting treatment.
10. Coordinate with external advisors, including Big Four firms, for preparation and filing of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns under the Income Tax Act, 1961.
11. Demonstrate sound understanding of Transfer Pricing regulations as per the Income Tax Act, 1961.
12. Assist in preparing supporting schedules and documentation required for tax audits.
13. Provide necessary documentation and explanations during statutory and tax audit processes.
14. Coordinate with external tax advisors for assessment proceedings and provide required information.
15. Address and resolve various tax-related queries from internal stakeholders.
16. Independently handle tax reporting requirements as per HQ reporting guidelines.

Qualifications

• Commerce Background - (Semi qualified CA - Inter/ Final), BCom, MBA etc.
• Advanced degree or professional certifications in related fields.

Experience:

• Should have relevant experience of at least 2-4 Years' Experience
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income tax.
• Experience in working with external auditors / Big Four firms is an advantage

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income tax.
• Experience in working with external auditors / Big Four firms is an advantage.
