Become a Grid Performance Analytics and Reporting Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll play a critical hands-on role supporting enterprise performance management-building trusted KPIs, developing dashboards, and delivering recurring performance reporting used by leaders across System Planning & Engineering, Finance, and Transmission & Distribution. This role offers high visibility and meaningful exposure across the organization. You will work closely with a Senior Advisor and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure grid strategy and business priorities are supported by disciplined analytics, accurate metrics, and consistent performance narratives. Responsibilities

  • Gathers, synthesizes and summarizes performance data to support development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Assists in summarizing and reporting company performance metrics, including financial, operational, and customer metrics - KPIs; provides insights on the impact of changes on performance metrics and helps stakeholders adapt to new performance management processes or systems.
  • Assists in the creation of performance reports and dashboards that present key metrics and trends clearly and concisely; shares these reports with stakeholders to provide a comprehensive view of the organization's performance and track progress towards goals.
  • Works with stakeholders to help translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives and projects; ensures that performance measures are aligned with the organization's strategy and integrated into performance management systems.
  • Supports the identification of areas for performance improvement based on data analysis and insights; collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Assists in assessing and monitoring risks that may impact business performance. Helps identify potential risks and develops risk mitigation strategies to ensure effective risk management.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization, including department heads and operational teams; facilitates discussions and presentations to communicate performance results, share insights, and gain buy-in for performance improvement initiatives.
  • Assists in the continuous evaluation and refining of performance management processes and methodologies.
  • Stays updated with industry best practices and emerging trends to enhance the organization's performance management capabilities.
  • Assists in the support of change initiatives by providing insights on the impact of changes on performance metrics; helps stakeholders understand and adapt to new performance management processes or systems.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in data analysis and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Analytics, Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: performance analytics, business intelligence, operational reporting, enterprise performance management, or financial/operational analysis.
  • Strong experience working with data to build, maintain, and refine KPIs, metrics, and recurring performance reports.
  • Experience with dashboards and reports using common business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI or similar), along with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience translating analytical findings into clear insights and summaries for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting performance management processes (e.g., scorecards, OKRs, or similar frameworks)
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement or structured problem-solving approaches (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) is helpful.
  • Experience working in the utility industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering reliable, high-quality work in deadline-driven environments.
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset-proactively identifying issues, improving processes, and following through on commitments.

Additional Information

  • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
