Become a District Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll be responsible for all facets of district operations which include safety, logistics, distribution construction, maintenance and financial.
The District Manager leads the sites to include ensuring EH&S activities/policies are adhered to and required training is completed. In addition, you'll provide leadership to the Frontline Field Supervisors, Production Specialist, Field Services, Meter Services, Business Office functions and bargaining unit employees.
The District Manager is accountable for the environmental health and safety of the entire District work locations and its employees. You will be charged with ensuring that budget allocation and operations within the districts' are optimized, including resource scheduling, material distribution and crew productivity, in an efficient manner and for the overall success in meeting safety, financial, customer satisfaction, compliance and reliability goals.

Responsibilities
- Dei?nes resourcing plans to meet maintenance targets and grid hardening initiatives in a district. Establishes guidelines for i?eld safety program audits and incident investigations.
- Promotes continuous improvement events analyzing maintenance process i?ows.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, i?nancial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, coni?dential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
- Experience in utility operations, construction or engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related technical field.
- Experience and knowledge of Distribution Construction, Maintenance and Design standards, OSHA regulations, safety work practices and procedures and labor contracts.
- Project management techniques to establish and maintain budgets, develop communication plans, and review and update scope and progress for complex multidisciplinary projects.
- Excellent communication skills, as this position interfaces and/or collaborates within internal/external clients, governmental agencies, all levels of employees, managers within and across business units, and corporate officers to develop solutions and facilitate cooperation between departments.
- Ability to achieve results through others by prioritizing activities, delegating and monitoring the progress of assignments, and holding employees accountable for results.
- Create positive and high-performance work environment.
- Strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
Additional Information
- This position's work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- Position will require up to 50% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.

Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
