The Senior Financial Analyst is a high-visibility position on the Finance team focused on reporting, planning, and analyzing financial results. While you will support the broader FP&A org, this specific role is the financial architect for our Operations and Field Service teams. You will own the "middle of the P&L," translating technical site performance and "truck rolls" into actionable financial insights. This role offers a unique opportunity to help build foundational financial processes and models, specifically regarding our performance guarantees and service margins, that will allow Omnidian to scale to 5GW+ and beyond.
What You'll Do
- At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. How you create an impact is ultimately up to you. Here is an outline of some of the things you'll be doing:

- Own the forecasting and monthly "bridge" for Gross Margin. Analyze variances in field service spend, hardware costs, and performance guarantee (PG) payouts.
- Manage the financial logic between subscription and billable revenue.
- Assist in developing and refining financial models, including driver-based LRP and 3-statement modeling, with a focus on Shortfall Liability and reserve modeling.
- Support scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess risks, opportunities, and optimize investments.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Operations) to assist in surfacing actionable insights.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking (30%)
- Partner with Residential and Commercial Operations heads to surface insights on technician efficiency and vendor profitability.
- Help implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure company performance.
- Support the preparation of monthly/quarterly business reviews and Board materials, focusing on the story behind our cost of goods sold.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and presentations for management, the Board of Directors, and Board Committees.
- Assist in developing reporting mechanisms to monitor performance, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient information flow.
- Contribute to preparing materials for business reviews, monthly/quarterly meetings, and other strategic initiatives.
- System Management & Financial Close (30%)
- Support the administration of FP&A systems, ensuring operational data from Salesforce and Field Service tools flows accurately into our financial dashboards.
- Support the monthly close in partnership with Accounting, specifically ensuring the accurate classification of job costs and warranty recoveries.
- Act as a "utility player" to help improve internal processes across Revenue or OpEx as the organization's needs evolve.
- Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into financial performance.
- Help improve internal processes to support the organization's evolving needs and growth objectives.
Who You Are
- You are ARTful: Accountable, Respectful, and Transparent.
- You have a bias for action and a passion for finding "the story" behind the numbers.
- You can read a Service Agreement and understand exactly where our financial responsibility ends and the customer's begins.
- You thrive in dynamic environments and can pivot between deep-dive operational audits and high-level corporate budgeting.
- You can explain complex financial risks to a technician in the field or an executive in the boardroom.
- You excel at building relationships and understanding business partner needs.

- Familiarity with tracking profitability at the individual work-order or project level.
Experience That's a Plus
- Direct experience in Renewable Energy, O&M, or Field Services is highly preferred.
- Experience in a high-growth, technology-driven environment or with SaaS business models.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) and ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite/Salesforce).
- West coast candidates preferred, especially Seattle and San Francisco.
Work-Life & Culture
- Most of our roles offer the opportunity to work remotely.
- If you are in the Seattle area, we offer a vibrant office space in the historic and beautiful Smith Tower, in the heart of Pioneer Square.
- We prioritize applicants near one of our employee clusters and offer one or more local gatherings per year.
- We provide outstanding benefits including family medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) administration and $1k match per year and thoughtful paid time off.
- We offer 12 weeks of paid parental leave to all FTE employees (birthing and non-birthing) after 1 year, and four-week paid sabbatical leave after four years.
