What They Do
Everlight Solar focuses exclusively on residential solar energy systems, providing full-service installation of solar panels with no upfront customer costs. Homeowners can shift their existing utility payments to cover the systems over time, making solar energy more accessible (source: everlightsolar.com). The company installs complete home systems in just a few hours year-round, offers lifetime consultations, and leverages the federal solar tax credit increase from 26% to 30% to enhance affordability (source: sustaindane.org). Targeting homeowners in the Midwest and expanding into the Western U.S., Everlight operates in states including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Idaho, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming (source: zoominfo.com). As the self-described largest and fastest-growing home solar company in the Midwest, Everlight differentiates itself through rapid installation speed, zero-upfront-cost financing, and community-rooted operations in Dane County, which includes a fleet of nine battery electric vehicles by 2023 (source: sustaindane.org).
Projects & Track Record
In 2021, Everlight completed 532 solar installations in Dane County, Wisconsin, totaling 4 megawatts of capacity, demonstrating its early scale in a key market (source: sustaindane.org). The company maintains a strong track record of residential projects across its operational states, with ongoing expansions supported by the 2023 Verona headquarters construction (source: everlightsolar.com). Key clients are primarily individual homeowners in the Midwest, bolstered by community partnerships such as tree-planting initiatives and solar education programs at local schools, as well as annual Clean Energy Scholarships for renewable energy students (source: sustaindane.org). Geographically centered in Wisconsin with Dane County as a hub, Everlight has grown into eight states, positioning Verona as a springboard for Midwest solar adoption (source: zoominfo.com).

Over the last two years, Everlight achieved three-year revenue growth of 929.562%, earning No. 632 on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list of America's Fastest-Growing Private Companies and No. 1797 on the 2024 list (source: everlightsolar.com). Working There
Everlight employs roles across various departments including sales, installation crews, operations, customer service, community education, and executive leadership, with a focus on civil engineering construction for solar deployments (source: zoominfo.com). Primary hiring occurs at the Verona, Wisconsin headquarters, with remote opportunities available for approximately half the workforce and field positions across its operational states (source: sustaindane.org). The company culture emphasizes employee well-being through internal clubs for exercise, cooking, personal finance, and a green team, fostering inclusivity and fun (source: sustaindane.org). Documented benefits include electric cars for many staff, remote work reducing commutes, and a supportive environment recognized by Glassdoor in 2025 (source: zoominfo.com). However, some customer reviews highlight aggressive door-to-door sales tactics, which may impact experiences for those in sales roles (source: bbb.org).
