Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with deep expertise in financial planning and analysis and hands-on experience in NetSuite to help scale and modernize our finance infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of FP&A and Finance Systems and will be responsible not only for forecasting and financial modeling, but also for building automated, scalable reporting processes and optimizing our NetSuite environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with technical fluency, thrives in building systems from the ground up, and is passionate about replacing manual workflows with efficient, automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Develop dynamic, driver-based financial models that integrate directly with ERP data
  • Perform detailed variance and trend analysis, delivering actionable insights to leadership
  • Support capital planning, investment modeling, and scenario analysis

NetSuite Ownership & Optimization

  • Serve as the finance team's NetSuite subject matter expert
  • Design and maintain NetSuite saved searches, reports, dashboards, and workflows
  • Partner with IT and external consultants to optimize system configuration and controls
  • Improve data structure, chart of accounts, segments, and reporting hierarchies
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with planning or BI tools

Process Automation & Systems Development

  • Identify manual processes and implement automation solutions within NetSuite and adjacent systems
  • Build automated reporting packages that reduce close and forecast cycle time
  • Develop data pipelines between NetSuite and BI/forecasting tools
  • Utilize advanced Excel (Power Query, macros), SQL, or scripting tools to streamline data workflows
  • Improve data integrity, reconciliation processes, and reporting accuracy

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Build executive dashboards and KPI tracking tools leveraging NetSuite and BI platforms
  • Standardize financial and operational reporting across departments
  • Enable self-service reporting for business stakeholders
  • Deliver board-ready reporting materials and analytics

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with Accounting on close process improvements and reporting alignment
  • Partner with Operations and department leaders to align systems with business needs
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and growth investments

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 6-10+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance Systems, or Corporate Finance
  • Strong hands-on NetSuite experience (reporting, saved searches, dashboards, workflows)
  • Experience leading finance process automation initiatives
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, complex modeling, automation)
  • Strong understanding of ERP data structures and financial systems architecture
  • Experience building scalable financial reporting frameworks

Preferred

  • MBA, CPA, or CFA
  • Experience with NetSuite implementations or major enhancements
  • Familiarity with NetSuite SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, or integrations (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau)
  • SQL or Python experience for data automation
  • Experience in high-growth, multi-entity, or capital-intensive environments

Benefits

This role offers a base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 (DOE)

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each posted range, individual pay is determined (and may be greater or higher), dependent on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
