Job Description

You will be a part of Power Transformers as a Cybersecurity manager at Hitachi Energy. You will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of various cybersecurity activities within our delivery projects You will ensure that activities are performed on time, within budget and meet the high-security standards expected from a global technology leader.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of cybersecurity activities, including but not limited to security incident response, customer dialogue in relation to requirements for Cybersecurity and standards, vulnerability management, risk assessments, and operational security process improvements.
  • Execute project activities according to base time schedule and targets.
  • Define resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders across various technical disciplines.
  • Manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and reporting on key milestones and risks to Project Directors and management.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating critical concerns as necessary.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, vendors, and internal and external stakeholders.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Energy or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years specifically managing projects in operational environment, containing Cybersecurity is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex initiatives in an operational environment related to cybersecurity.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and common security technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IAM).
  • Experience with project management methodologies and relevant project management software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
