Are you interested in renewable energy and want to be part of Finance Latin America working for a global leader in Wind Energy? Join Vestas as a Finance Reporting & Compliance Latin America team member!

We are looking for a Finance Reporting & Compliance Latin America Specialist, based in Brazil, who will be responsible for monthly closing & reporting processes for the entities included in the Region. The position will report to the Latin America Finance Director.

As a specialist your main responsibilities will include:

  • Being responsible for monthly closing & reporting processes for the entities included in the Region.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting processes and financial policies/guidelines.
  • Becoming the main contact point for Headquarters regarding reported figures.
  • Perform financial controlling for the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
  • Provide support in accounting/reporting processes to companies included within the Region.
  • Support during regional budget preparation. Review and analyze budget deviations.
  • Control and review Fixed Capacity Costs.
  • Improve reporting processes and communicate group guidelines to local teams.
  • Collaborate in the execution of internal controls.

Qualifications

Accounting, Economics and or Business Administration bachelor's degree. Master's degree in accounting/auditing is appreciated.

+5 years of professional experience in similar roles either in multinationals or big four/consultancy firms.

Fluent in Portuguese & English. Spanish is highly appreciated.

SAP knowledge + Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point. SAC and BPC experience.
