Job Description

Do you have a strong technical mindset and a passion for structure, quality, and well-prepared offshore execution? Do you want to play a key role in ensuring that service campaigns are executed safely, efficiently, and with the highest documentation standards? Then you might be our new Project Engineer within Service Operations at Semco Maritime.

Your position

As our new Project Engineer, you will be a vital part of the Service Operations project team, where your primary responsibility will be to prepare and maintain the documentation required for safe and efficient offshore execution of service campaigns.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, HSE, and engineering disciplines to ensure that all documentation - including RAMS, checklists, and execution plans - is complete, accurate, and aligned with project and client requirements. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring documentation excellence and quality across our service projects.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As Project Engineer within Service Operations, you will support the planning and execution of service campaigns through structured and high-quality documentation.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation for offshore service campaigns
  • Developing RAMS, work descriptions, and execution plans in close collaboration with project teams
  • Creating and maintaining offshore checklists and readiness documentation
  • Ensuring documentation complies with internal standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations
  • Supporting Project Leaders and Site Managers with documentation reviews and updates
  • Ensuring high-quality reporting before, during, and after offshore execution
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of documentation standards, templates, and processes

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented Project Engineer who takes ownership of quality and thrives in a collaborative project environment.

To succeed in this role, you likely have:

  • A technical education (e.g. engineer, marine, mechanical, electrical, or similar)
  • Experience from project engineering, service operations, or offshore execution (advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of documentation requirements for offshore or industrial projects
  • Experience working with RAMS, work packs, Service Reporting or other execution documentation
  • A high focus on quality, structure, and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills in English (German is an advantage)
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
