We are looking for an experienced Power Trader to join our Trading team with a focus on the Hungarian power market. In this role, you will manage short‑term and futures trading activities, optimise RES assets, and contribute to the development of our internal trading capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting day-ahead and intraday trading on the HUPX SPOT market
  • Optimising RES power plant output through trading on Hungarian and Czech futures and spot markets
  • Supporting daily proprietary trading activities across physical and financial products
  • Preparing and submitting TSO nominations in line with operational requirements
  • Collaborating with internal Analysis and Product teams to enhance forecasting and trading tools
  • Developing strategies, models, and automation solutions to improve trading performance
  • Continuous monitoring market conditions and communicating relevant insights to the team

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in power trading, preferably with direct exposure to the Hungarian market
  • Communicative level of English for daily work and excellent command of Hungarian
  • Practical programming experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proactive, eager to learn, adaptable, and responsible
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
