Job Description

Are you a process-driven professional with a focus on precision and a results-oriented attitude? In the CPX-PMO department, we are the backbone of project execution. We are looking for a PMO Procurement & Cost Analysis Specialist to ensure that every material, service, and cost associated with our wind energy projects is tracked, managed, and executed flawlessly. If you are highly experienced in the SAP procurement flow and your primary skill is your ability to follow up until every task is completed, this is the role for you.

As part of the Mediterranean (MED) Region team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across different countries, ensuring operational excellence in one of Vestas' most dynamic markets.

What you will do

  • This is a high-visibility role where your follow-up skills will be essential to ensuring timely project delivery
  • Drive accountability across the procurement chain to prevent project delays and ensure financial integrity
  • Procurement Execution: Manage the end-to-end transactional flow in SAP: PR > PO > GR > IR. You will ensure that purchase requisitions are created accurately and that the payment process is seamless
  • Cost Stewardship: Maintain high-quality data in SAP, including site details and Latest Cost Expectations (LCE). You will be responsible for ensuring that the project's financial status reflects reality at all times
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the bridge between Procurement, Project Management, and Suppliers to ensure correct cost allocation and timely delivery
  • Strategic Reporting: Generate and analyze POC (Percentage of Completion) reports and track PR status by activity and supplier

What you bring

  • The "Follow-up" Mindset: You are naturally organized, engaged, and persistent. You don't just identify a bottleneck; you resolve it
  • Assertive Communication: Capacity to confront stakeholder issues and pursue results while keeping interactions respectful and professional
  • SAP Experience: Deep knowledge of the PR-PO-GR-IR flow. You should be adept at working within SAP procurement and project modules
  • Methodological Background: University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar, with 5-8 years of experience in similar PMO or Cost Control roles
  • Languages: High-level English. You will be tested on your ability to communicate complex ideas fluently in English (interviews and assessments will be conducted entirely in English)
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for high-level reporting
