Job Description
The Health, Safety and Environment department in Nakskov has the overall purpose of ensuring all employees come home safely and limiting the overall impact on the environment from our activities. You will join a large, international organization in continuous development, where change, improvement, and learning are part of everyday operations. You will direct the strategy and keep advancing the safety culture on the Blades production site with the aim of eliminating all incidents and hazards. Your role is realized through engaging, challenging, and supporting leaders and team members across the organization. The qualified candidate will be part of a focused management team reporting to the Head of the Nakskov Blades Factory.
Responsibilities
- Acting manager in the HSE department - You are motivated by motivating others through influence rather than authority
- Key support and sparring partner for the factory's Health and Safety Organization, helping translate strategy and requirements into practical actions
- Develop factory HSE KPI and Monitor HSE performance
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other corporate standards
- Facilitate internal and external audits
Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in Business, Engineering, HSE and Field Operations
- Valid qualifications in occupational health and safety
- Deep knowledge of Intent Based Leadership, ISO standards and safety guidelines
- We prefer experience as a leader of teams, with the understanding that strong safety performance is built through people - not only processes
- You take pride in being a trusted advisor who promotes continuous improvement while building solid relationships
- An engaging personality who can inspire others and connect effectively with a range of stakeholders
