Job Description

The scope includes design, development and review of firmware for electricity meters products.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Should be able to understand project deliverables & drive the technical contents for each delivery. Participation in estimation / validate the size & duration of the deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance to Engineers for effective technical implementation as per laid out architectural solutions. Proactive in sharing improvement suggestions for improvements.
  • Participate in Technical discussions.
  • Critical problem solving

Technical Domain Specific

  • Should be able to define work content for deliverable, own the actions and results, exhibiting high quality & best practices.
  • Should be able to share new ideas for improving coding, best practices.
  • Build & manage the Work-Product repository. Promote & implement reuse of robust & reliable design blocks and work towards standardization. Bring uniform & consistent implementation of technical solutions across the product lines.
  • Suggestion for standardizing and harmonizing the tool chain to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Assume ownership of the living document "Design Guidelines" and continuously monitor its compliance.
  • Strong individual contributor as developer.
