YOUR MISSIONS

The Systems Engineer position involves developing systems and requires advanced expertise in data processing, analytics, and full-cycle software and web development with Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Pandas, ETL processes, and CI/CD using Jenkins.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions for renewable energy operation, monitoring and performance optimization;
  • Execution of projects to be developed by the Performance team by using Agile methodology, making sure that the best valuable product is being delivered;
  • Development of web platforms, software and processing algorithms based upon the different business line needs;
  • Data processing and analytics;
  • Data Extraction, Treatment and Load (ETL);
  • Full cycle software and web development using Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Pandas and others;
  • Build Web front ends using modern frameworks (e.g. JavaScript, Bootstrap, Tailwind);
  • Interact with modern API technologies (e.g. REST, JSON, OAUTH, SOAP);
  • Build scalable APIs and data services using modern Python frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI);
  • Develop and deploy serverless applications in a cloud-native environment;
  • Implement secure coding practices aligned with industry standards (OWASP, secure SDLC principles);
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, test, and deployment processes;
  • Monitor system reliability, performance, and security posture;
  • Enforce software engineering best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • A background in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field;
  • Solid programming skills in Python and modern web technologies such as Django, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap;
  • Experience building data-driven applications and visualizations (e.g., Highcharts or similar tools);
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL;
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English and/or Portuguese.
