We're thrilled to introduce a key role that connects our cutting-edge technology with the regulatory and utility landscape across Europe, the Compliance Specialist-Generalist - Europe. - Implement and continuously improve Sungrow's compliance program across European entities, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and internal policies.
- Conduct proactive compliance risk assessments across business functions, identifying potential gaps and proposing effective mitigation strategies.
- Develop and deliver impactful compliance training programs to employees and management, fostering a strong culture of compliance.
- Support rigorous compliance with EU sanctions, export control regulations, trade compliance rules, and anti-corruption measures.
- Assist with compliance pertaining to EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR) and EU International Procurement Instrument (IPI/IAA), coordinating internal information gathering for regulatory inquiries.
- Contribute to the company's ESG initiatives and supply chain due diligence, ensuring adherence to sustainability and responsible sourcing regulations.
- Conduct thorough compliance due diligence on third parties, including distributors, suppliers, and agents, to identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, or reputational risks.
Your profile

- A law degree is strongly preferred, with qualification to practice in an EU jurisdiction being a significant advantage.
- You bring 5-8 years of experience in compliance, legal, audit, or regulatory roles, ideally gained within law firms, companies, or regulatory bodies.
- Demonstrated familiarity with European regulatory frameworks is essential, particularly those relevant to renewable energy.
- You possess strong analytical and risk assessment abilities, with a proven capacity to translate complex legal requirements into practical business guidance.
- Business fluent English (C1/C2) is required, and proficiency in additional European languages (especially German or Polish) or Mandarin is an advantage.
- You exhibit high integrity, strong professional ethics, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset in a fast-paced international environment.
