Your Role
As part of the manufacturing team, you will report to the Head of production Organisation, and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for aerospace components (Electric Propulsion System).
You will work closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure processes are robust, repeatable, and compliant with aerospace standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies (Surface treatment, Bonding, Gluing, ...), dealing with mechanical, electronics and electrical parts..
- Select, specify, and commission production equipment and machines required for new or improved processes.
- Define and optimize process qualification parameters to ensure stable and repeatable production.
- Set up and validate machines, including tooling, fixtures, and control parameters.
- Debug and troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Analyze process results and performance data to improve yield, efficiency, and reliability.
- Establish and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, parameter sheets, and process logs.
- Monitor process stability through data logging, statistical analysis, and process control methods.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to support new product introduction and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality and safety standards.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 6-8+ years of experience in manufacturing process development in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries.
- Strong understanding of process parameters, machine setup, and industrial equipment.
- Experience with process debugging, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods.
- Ability to interpret production data, logs, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of quality standards and traceability requirements in aerospace manufacturing is a strong asset.
- Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English, French is an asset.
- Experience in team management or a strong taste to evaluate towards the Manufacturing team Lead role.
