As our Content Marketeer, you turn complex energy and tech topics into clear, engaging stories that support Smappee's commercial growth. You build and execute a structured content strategy across channels, collaborate closely with internal experts, and ensure consistent communication that strengthens our global brand presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Smappee's content strategy across markets and customer segments.
- Build and maintain a structured content plan and editorial calendar.
- Create compelling and accurate content for blogs, newsletters, product pages and to a lesser extent for social media.
- Translate complex technical topics-such as energy monitoring, EV charging, and automation into accessible language.
- Coordinate creative assets, translations, and localization with internal and external partners.
- Monitor content performance, track SEO and engagement metrics, and optimize based on insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across product, sales, R&D, and marketing to gather input and deliver publishable content.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in content marketing, ideally in technical or complex industries.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a clear strength in long-form content such as blogs, articles, and in-depth storytelling.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and accurately.
- Experience with SEO, keyword research, and content performance analytics.
- Experience working with customer journeys and identifying content gaps.
- Fluent in English (Dutch or French are strong assets).
- Experience with Craft CMS, HubSpot, or AI/LLM tools is a plus.
- Curious, proactive, hands-on, and a collaborative team player.
