We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to support the day-to-day running of our warehouse. Working alongside the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for receiving goods, managing stock, picking and packing orders, and ensuring accurate and timely dispatch.

You will be responsible for maintaining an organised, safe, and efficient warehouse environment while liaising with suppliers when required. Delivery duties will be required; therefore, a full clean driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations

  • Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch.
  • Receive incoming deliveries and check goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Ensure correct packaging, labelling and documentation for outgoing shipments
  • Safely store goods in the correct warehouse locations.
  • Report issues relating to deliveries, damages or shortages.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is used safely and correctly.
  • Comply with health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Conduct deliveries or collections when required.
  • Ensure goods are transported safely and documentation is completed correctly.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Support general warehouse activities and operational needs.
  • Carry out other duties as reasonably required by management.

Supporting the Warehouse Manager

  • Maintain accurate stock records and report discrepancies.
  • Assist with regular stock counts and inventory management
  • Support the warehouse manager to process customer and internal orders within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure order accuracy.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding incoming deliveries and order queries.
  • Support the coordination of incoming stock and supplier shipments.
