In your new position as Solution Engineer, SCADA & Protection in the Renewable Division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated Product Line Management Team whose mission is to make Offshore Substations modular. Your place of work will be at our polish office located in Gdynia, the hub of the Polish energy industry, right on the waterfront. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 30 days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As our new Solution Engineer for SCADA & Protection you will be responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of the products and solutions offerings for our offshore substation product line.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Help with SCADA & Protection product and solutions development and maintenance in line with future market requirements
• Proposal development based on the architecture framework and the client's requirements
• Maintain knowledge on market demand and implement product improvements and requirements for product line to fit future projects
• Coordinate and secure strategic supply chain with Procurement, including cost-out activities
• Help develop and maintain the product roadmap with input on new technologies from the supply chain, organization, and the market
• Handover of the as-sold solutions to the project execution team

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for an outgoing SCADA & Protection Engineer with a product development mindset, preferably coming from a manufacturing organisation. You can work collaboratively with others in an international environment where you can leave your mark on it!

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

• Experience with the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of communications systems, control and monitoring, SCADA, and instrumentations
• Experience with concepts in power, control, automation, and cabling
• Experience in Auxiliary Control and Monitoring systems as well as HVAC control systems
• A relevant technical education such as a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or similar with experience, preferrable in SCADA & Protection
• Good understanding of OT security and network designs
• Experience from the utility sector or offshore wind industries is an advantage, but not an ultimate requirement.
• Curious, outgoing, and positive mindset.
• "Design for X" development experience (fx. for Manufacturability, for Operation, for Service, for Reliability Availability, for Test, for Integrations)
• Great communication skills and fluency in English, verbal and written.
