Canadian Solar EMEA GmbH is seeking an SAP Business Analyst MM to join our EMEA IT Applications team. In this position, you will provide a blend of analytical support to the Logistics, Planning, Procurement, and Finance departments throughout the EMEA region by evaluating business requirements and overseeing enhancements within SAP MM, as well as integration with SD and CRM systems.
Key Responsibilities
IT Demand Management, Requirement Analysis
- Collaborate with finance, logistics and operations to gather & prioritize requirements.
- Requirement analysis on new business request.
- Document As-Is & To-Be processes
Solution design
- Work with senior SAP consultants and IT manager preparing functional specifications.
- Contribute to solution proposals that align with business objectives.
SAP Configuration
- Have functional knowledge, understand and support basic configuration tasks in SAP MM modules, including areas such as Inventory Management, Warehouse, 3PL integration, material valuation, procurement, General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Center Accounting (CCA).
- Ensure proper integration and data flow between MM, SD and other SAP modules plus external application systems.
Change management Support
- Assist with the rollout of new processes and system changes within the SAP MM areas.
- Help document business process changes, prepare training materials, and communicate.
- Conduct user training sessions related to new functionalities or process changes.
- Monitor user feedback and adoption of changes, escalating issues or improvement suggestions to senior team members.
IT daily Operational Support
- Analyse and Resolve System Issues:
- Identify and troubleshoot SAP MM system issues.
- Provide root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- System Enhancements and Optimization:
- Continuously improve SAP MM functionalities.
- Coordinate and prioritize business requirements and enhancements with EMEA local IT Applications members.
- Work closely with EMEA, NAM, HQ SAP and CRM local teams for enhancements.
- User Training and Support:
- Conduct training sessions for logistics, operations, finance teams and end users.
- Provide ongoing support and documentation for logistics, operations and finance processes.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master's degree in information technology, computer science, financial management, Accounting, MBA, or a related field.
- Good understanding on finance and operation processes in a sales organization.
- Experienced with Visio or similar UML tool to document business process.
- 2~4 years' experience in SAP MM modules as SAP consultant or Business Analyst
- Experienced on the SAP MM submodules: Procurement, Vendors, Invoice verification, Inventory Management, Material movements, Material planning, Material Valuation, Warehouse management, Batch management, Serial numbers and Classification.
- Good understanding of SAP submodules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, and Taxation. Familiarity with European tax processes in major European countries would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP CO submodules such as Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Having certain knowledge on SAP SD and PLM modules is desired.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Having certain knowledge on CRM MS-D365 is preferred.
- Industries experience in Solar, Storage, Power Electronics with B2B business is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish
