You'll use your continuous improvement mindset to partner across the company and with key external stakeholders to translate lessons learned into scalable, repeatable practices-strengthening SCE's industry-leading wildfire mitigation programs with solutions that can serve as a model for utilities across California and, potentially, beyond. Responsibilities

  • Supports the development of critical regulatory and legislative initiatives to facilitate the execution of the strategic plan.
  • Identi???es system risks and evaluates risk reduction bene???ts of proposed mitigation strategy projects in the capital investment strategy.
  • Leads the development and management of Protection and Control Asset strategies for programmatic investment decisions.
  • Evaluates SCE's enterprise level risks and provides suitable mitigation options to senior management.
  • Provides strategic and regulatory analysis for the company, speci???cally including competitive positioning, price forecasting, financial analytics, and regulatory planning scenario evaluations.
  • Provides analyses, evaluation and management recommendations on key strategic initiatives.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, ???nancial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, con???dential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of experience in strategic planning, setting strategies at the department or organization level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five or more years of project management experience
  • Familiarity with Grid Operations and/or PSPS protocols
  • Demonstrable understanding of risk frameworks, assessments, and tradeoffs
  • Strong data analytics skills and experience with multiple analytic tools
  • Experience writing regulatory testimony or other material for external consumption

Additional Information

  • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.???
