The Position
Arevon is recruiting for a Digital Communications Intern, an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century.
The Digital Communications Intern works in the Communications Department to support the creation and optimization of Arevon's digital communications' strategy and assets. This role involves creative thinking and communications skills that are essential for engaging and educating internal and external stakeholders. The Digital Communications Intern will report directly to the Digital Communications Manager.
Key Projects
- Communications Campaigns: Assist in developing comprehensive communications campaigns around a key topic (e.g., project or stakeholder group), utilizing various communication channels such as a blog, video, social media, and media outreach.
- Corporate Videos: Support the revision of the About Arevon and Employee videos, as well as the creation of a new Core Values video, including scheduling, coordinating interviews, and helping manage overall production.
- Company Store: Contribute to the development of a company store that offers corporate- and project-branded apparel and swag aligned with established guidelines.
- Accomplishments Presentation: Create and deliver a PowerPoint presentation highlighting key activities, accomplishments, and measurable outcomes from the internship, using real data and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Collateral Creation: Help create and manage collateral such as fact sheets, blogs, and PowerPoint decks.
- Social Media: Support the development of Arevon's social media calendar through planning, copywriting, and graphic creation. Additionally, the Digital Communications Intern will support monthly social media reporting.
- Photo and Video: Assist with photo and video projects, including the review and publication of videos as well as photo organization in SharePoint.
- Website: Contribute to Arevon's project landing page project and ongoing site maintenance, including content publishing and minor updates.
Qualifications
- Education Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite: Basic understanding of tools and software, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and ensure quality across written and visual content.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain strong organizational skills.
- Graphic Design Knowledge: Familiarity with graphic design principles and platforms to support collateral creation.
