Job Description
We are EDP, a global energy company present in around 29 markets with a particular emphasis on renewable energies. What you will do
Lead and manage commercial initiatives with industrial and large commercial clients, expanding the company's presence in the Italian energy market by developing and delivering tailored renewable energy solutions that align with clients' decarbonization and efficiency objectives, while ensuring strong financial performance and operational excellence across the project lifecycle.
- Develop and expand key client relationships, engaging directly with industrial decision-makers, procurement leaders, and energy managers to identify, structure, and deliver distributed generation solutions that support their strategic energy and sustainability objectives.
- Drive opportunity development for on-site energy projects (e.g., Solar PV, BESS, heat electrification, energy efficiency), ensuring full alignment between client requirements and internal capabilities.
- Lead commercial structuring and negotiation, coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, legal, operations) to develop competitive, profitable, and compliant offers that balance client value and company returns, while continuously improving internal processes and client engagement practices.
- Navigate the Italian regulatory environment, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of national and regional energy policies, permitting procedures, and grid connection requirements, and translating these into actionable insights that enhance project feasibility and return on investment.
- Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and professional forums, strengthening brand visibility, market presence, and credibility within the Italian industrial energy ecosystem.

What are we looking for

Academic Skills:
- University Degree and Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related fields. Master's degree and Project Management certification (PMP or Agile) will be valued.

Professional Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B energy or an equivalent industrial business development role.
- Portfolio Management: Proven track record managing multinational clients with multi-country operations and high revenue impact. Proven sales track record, with evidence of account planning, pipeline management, and consistent achievement of commercial objectives.
- Industry Exposure with experience in sectors with complex, global operations (e.g., technology, manufacturing, logistics, or consulting).
- Experience working with industrial clients, with solid understanding of their operational and financial drivers.
- Background in Solar DG, gas, or cogeneration is highly valued.
- Exposure to the Italian regulatory landscape, including grid operators, permitting authorities, and public incentives and experience securing subsidies to enhance project viability is a strong plus.
- Experience in EDP B2B sales

- Financial Acumen: Understanding P&L, pricing strategies, financial levers and ROI for large accounts.
- CRM tools (Salesforce)
