Imagine a future where you enable safe, efficient and compliant operation of new or upgraded assets at Ørsted's heat and power plants.

Join us in this role where you'll take responsibility for transferring complex power plant projects from construction into operations - shaping how we mature, govern, and execute project handover to operation in Bioenergy. A transfer project is an integrated part of the overall CAPEX project. Your role is to project manage the integration of the new asset in our operational setup securing value creation by involving specialists across Bioenergy's organisation in project maturation and execution. The Transfer project scope covers functional areas of the organization through 10 packages.

You'll be part of the Project Execution department where you, together with your colleagues, will in the Transfer Project team, will be working closely with our EPC project managers and other internal stakeholders. The Project Execution team is responsible for executing all CAPEX projects in Bioenergy. You'll also play a key role in strengthening our Transfer Project Management setup, introduced in September 2025. Together with the team and stakeholders you'll drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, standards, and change management to maximize value creation. As a team, we value open dialogue, teamwork and the ability to work independently, enabling us to solve complex challenges together.

You'll play an important role in

  • planning and executing transfer projects in alignment with agreed time, scope, and budget
  • ensuring successful project transfers that maximise operational value creation incl. establishing clear governance, decision-making, and progress reporting across the 10 work packages
  • initiating and maturing transfer projects with key stakeholders, and driving execution against agreed scope, schedule, and budget
  • taking the lead of the transfer project team(s) and aligning between stakeholders in your assigned projects including navigating in a complex organization
  • ensuring focus on the projects and execute timely thus obstacles incl. delivering strong project closure, retrospectives and lessons learned.

To succeed in the role, you

  • hold a master´s degree and it will be an advantage if you have experience from power station operations and/or the energy sector it will be an advantage
  • have solid experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in an industrial/asset-heavy environment
  • thrive by having the overall responsibility and overview of your projects consisting of a broad range of highly specialised deliverables
  • have an organised, systematic and structured way of working are an eminent stakeholder manager and enjoy working with a broad range of specialists
  • strive by sharing knowledge within your team and are curious to learn
  • possess strong communication skills in Danish and English as these languages are mandatory.
