Job Description
Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including: repairing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc. Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project. May include preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors A Senior Professional applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
How you'll make an impact
- Create Base Design with all necessary Concepts. Verify the implemented Base Design in the Detail Design (Bay and Station level Engineering).
- Technical Coordination and Lead for the project team during the project execution phase (Detail Design, Manufacturing, Testing Commissioning). Technical co-ordination for FAT.
- Responsible to ensure that specification is fulfilled in respect of the technical offer.
- Contribute to the improvement of the Net-margin including upsales, etc.
- Ensure project execution is carried out fulfilling internal processes and guidelines.
- Ensure experience and learnings during the project execution is shared with colleagues within the same unit (Sales, B&P, PMs, Engineering, Testing, Commissioning).
- Project execution for complex projects (E.g. Retrofit, Fast Track Projects, Turn Key Projects, etc.)
- Contribute to identify market compliant, low risk technical solution and efficient project setup (E.g. Organization, Communication, Sub-supplier).
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- BE/B.Tech - Electrical or Electronics Engg. with 8 - 12 years of relevant experience.
- Should have knowledge on Generator, Line, Transformer, Busbar protection relays and Bay control units
- Should have worked on IEDs configuration tools like PCM600, DIGSI, Agile studio, Easergy Studio, etc.,
- Should have worked on MicroSCADA for SAS & DMS, Gateway and Remote HMI applications etc., Work experience on 800xA for HMI, Load shedding, Generator shedding application etc., will be added advantage
- Should have working knowledge of Protocols such as IEC61850, Modbus, IEC-104, IEC-101, DLMS etc.,
- Should have working knowledge on Cyber Security for designing Substation Automation/Network control centers.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
