Join us in this role where you'll run sourcing processes end‑to‑end for complex and meaningful projects supporting Ørsted's bioenergy and carbon capture ambitions. You'll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders and play a key role in securing the right suppliers, contracts, and commercial solutions for our power plants and development projects.

You'll be part of The Bio Strategic Sourcing team where you, together with your colleagues, will support Ørsted's bioenergy assets in Denmark, covering OPEX, CAPEX, and development projects, including carbon capture initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, category managers, technical experts, QHSE, and legal colleagues. The team brings together people with technical, commercial, and legal backgrounds and values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a positive, energetic team spirit.

As a team, we share knowledge openly, and support each other in finding solutions to complex sourcing challenges.

You'll play an important role in

  • running sourcing and tender processes from start to finish, from setting the sourcing strategy and negotiating to contract award
  • preparing tender and contract packages ensuring optimal contractual mechanisms are in place
  • managing supplier dialogues, negotiations, bid evaluations, and final supplier selection
  • collaborating with internal stakeholders across projects, balancing technical, commercial, and legal considerations
  • ensuring compliance with tender requirements, including EU tender rules where applicable
  • reporting on sourcing results, contracts, and savings, and ensuring accurate data in sourcing systems.
  • continuously optimizing our way of working in collaboration with colleagues

To succeed in the role, you

  • have experience with sourcing, procurement, or tender management in an industrial, engineering, construction, or infrastructure environment
  • bring strong commercial understanding, including contract structures and negotiations
  • are comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with changing project teams
  • communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at different levels, including presenting to senior stakeholders
  • show curiosity, energy, and a willingness to learn and find solutions in new or complex situations
  • speak and write Danish and English is required.
