The Logistics Manager oversees and coordinates all logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation, customs, warehousing, and distribution activities. This role ensures the efficient flow of materials and finished goods, compliance with trade regulations, and alignment with customer and corporate requirements. The Logistics Manager leads the logistics team, drives cost optimization, and implements continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Coordinate import/export processes, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations.
  • Develop and monitor logistics KPIs to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
  • Lead negotiations with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
  • Ensure proper documentation for shipping, customs, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, and Customer Service teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce logistics costs and enhance performance.
  • Lead, train, and develop the logistics team to meet operational and business goals.
  • Manage logistics budgets and ensure cost control within established targets.
  • Support audits and compliance requirements related to trade, safety, and corporate standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of international and domestic logistics operations.

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of customs compliance and trade regulations in Mexico and internationally.
