We are looking for a Development Engineer/Expert depending on your experience with a main responsibility in industrial robot development task for Component Delivery development organization. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Development Engineer / Expert your work will include programming robot application, develop robot tooling and auxiliary devices, automation system process design (process, maintenance optimization). Tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You'll be working as a part of experienced and highly motivated robot & automation team.

Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Industrial robotic system Develop, Design, Program and be a part of projects team member
  • Robotic programming (Offline programming with tools such as Robot Studio, Roboguide)
  • Collect and analyse robot & system performance data
  • Provide technical guidance and training to operator and maintenance teams

Requirements

To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:

  • Hands-on experience robot brands ABB or Fanuc
  • Knowledge of advanced application for Robotics programming (Offline application)
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
  • Basic PLC knowledge (Beckhoff, Siemens or Omron)
  • Analytic mindset (data-oriented, problem solving)
  • Decision making ability
  • Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and verbal
