Responsibilities

  • Analyzes internal and external salary and wage data and performs job evaluations and market pricing of internal positions including evaluating positions for internal equity and external competitiveness; makes recommendations for job levels and job titles in accordance with established company structure and guidelines.
  • Leads the development of creative OU solutions on a variety of total compensation issues. Partners with senior-level management to assist in the administration of compensation programs. Creates and develops presentations for senior OU leadership teams to gain consensus and direction on strategic OU initiatives.
  • Leads the assessment, development, and implementation of integrated compensation processes and OU-specific policies ensuring alignment with corporate policies and guidelines.
  • For assigned OUs, serves as expert in Compensation matters and leads needs assessment and planning to address OU-specific compensation requirements to support business strategies and short- and long-term goals. Provides consultation to OU leadership on the Company's total rewards strategy and compensation programs.
  • Provides a consultative approach and collaborates with other HR and business. Develops and oversees compensation initiatives to direct the company towards the most efficient use of dollars for the biggest return in terms of business performance/strategy, retention, attraction and morale. Drives compensation philosophy to align with business needs.
  • Leads enterprise OU communication of compensation programs and training. Prepares and delivers compensation communication material for the purpose of educating, sharing information, marketing ideas, influencing and change management.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of experience developing, implementing and administering compensation such as salaries, short- and long-term incentives, job evaluations, performance appraisals, salary increases and salary surveys.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five or more years of serving as a primary advisor to business leaders on pay programs, competitive positioning, and compensation decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver client-ready materials that reflect subject matter expertise and a strong understanding of business needs, including analyzing and translating complex compensation data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for leaders and stakeholders.
  • Five or more years of experience leading complex compensation projects, including identifying, maintaining, and/or adjusting the scope and/or resources, and overseeing the formal planning, tracking, reporting of project performance and results delivery.
  • Experience with the SuccessFactors human capital management suite and MarketPay.
  • Solid technical proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Additional Information

  • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
