Job Description

We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to represent our factory's sales and marketing of High Voltage Bushings and On-Load Tap-Changers used in Transformers produced in our Swiss and Swedish components factories.

In this role you will be part of a Sales team and develop an in-depth knowledge of our products and in combination with high sensitivity to our customers' needs you will find the right solutions to win their trust and thereby orders.

This position is based in Altstetten, Zurich, Switzerland, and will require travel of around 20-30%.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work with dedicated markets and generate new business by working closely with our customers to become their first choice for On-Load Tap-Changers and High Voltage Bushings for their transformers
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, including with transformer manufacturers and end users, who are often utility companies or large industries
  • Follow up on sales opportunities to provide the best possible forecasts
  • Cooperate with the Offer Engineering Department and Tendering Specialists when a customized solution is required. Comfortable interacting with other departments to close out projects
  • Prepare technical/commercial offers by translating customer requirements into appropriate technology solutions and proposals
  • Follow the sales processes to ensure that customer requirements and contracts are effectively handed over to the project management team
  • Establish plans and continuously follow up to ensure that both our short-term and long-term actions are executed as planned

  • You have a technical background (an electrical and/or mechanical degree), combined with a commercial attitude and expertise
  • You have good communication, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • You are a curious person with the drive to challenge yourself and continuously develop
  • Fluency in English and intermediate knowledge of German (written and verbal) is required. Knowledge of other languages would be advantageous
