Job Description

Plant Monitoring & Reliability Sub Module, within Modelling & Analytics Module (M&A), Part of Vestas Power Solutions, is responsible for the products and services related to Vestas Monitoring and Reliability solutions and offerings. We have a skilled and diverse team that consists of everything from Health Monitoring Engineers/Specialists and Reliability Engineers/Specialists, Data engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists. The department is responsible for developing advanced Plant Monitoring Products & Solutions - Health Monitoring, Condition Monitoring, Power Quality Monitoring, Reliability and VTMs. This ranges across real-time data collection from thousands of power plants with Health Monitoring systems, and data analytics on a Health Monitoring & Reliability setup supporting multiple data applications, Diagnostics, Monitoring solutions for our customers. The goal is to bring down the cost of energy by leveraging the vast amount of data that Vestas collects and stores from power plants around the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement back-end infrastructure systems and processes
  • Manage product implementation, communications, and acceptance in the company
  • To work on CMS development Projects based on the project requirements
  • You will be responsible for industrialize the CMS product to the WTG platform needs
  • Develop and improve data collection tools, data quality, methods and processes
  • Establish training material/troubleshooting user guides for various stakeholders
  • Support Vestas value chain stakeholders & the CMS organization with data analysis, RCA and technical advice
  • Collect customer feedback and develop case stories & maintain best practices
  • Close engagement with CMS vendor and guiding the continuous development of product requirements
  • Deep understanding of the SKF CMS System

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's / PhD in IT Systems / IoT Systems / Electrical / Mechanical / Data scientist / Similar specialization
  • Minimum3+ years of relevant system Integration experience with TCM CMS Systems
  • Knowledge on remote monitoring and diagnostics processes and how it works
  • Integrator of IT systems (System Integration experience of CMS systems)
  • Knowledgeable around IT security, network architecture and IoT systems
  • Scripting skills in Python and or similar
  • Possess solid statistical skills & data-crunching and data-mining abilities
  • Very good working knowledge on database tools like MS-SQL
  • Knowledge on DMAIC Six Sigma Methodology

Competencies

Ability to interface with diverse groups (scientific teams, developers, business users) and understand end-to-end requirements

Solid written and oral presentation and communication skills

Takes initiative. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks and to complete assigned projects with minimal Supervisions
