Job Description

To strengthen our sales and project management team we are looking for you as Installed Base Manager (f/m/d) for our Business Unit Service in Germany to take ownership of our local installed base of equipment and solutions.

This role is critical in driving customer retention, service growth, lifecycle management, and long-term value creation by turning installed base data into actionable commercial and operational strategies.

You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Service, Marketing, and Operations to maximize uptime, renewals, upgrades, and service contract penetration across the installed base

How you'll make an impact

  • Own and actively manage the installed base portfolio, including data quality, segmentation, and lifecycle status
  • Develop and execute installed base strategies to increase service revenue, renewals, upgrades, and customer retention
  • Identify growth opportunities through modernization, retrofits, digital services, and spare parts
  • Collaborate with Sales and Service teams to create targeted campaigns and customer engagement plans
  • Analyze installed base data and KPIs to support forecasting, pipeline generation, and decision-making
  • Drive standardization of installed base processes, tools, and reporting
  • Partner with Product Management and Marketing to support go-to-market initiatives for installed base offerings
  • Act as a key interface between commercial teams and operations to ensure customer satisfaction and uptime

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Previous experience in Energy Engineering is mandatory
  • Proven experience in installed base management, service management, sales operations, or lifecycle management is preferable
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM, ERP, and reporting tools
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into revenue-generating actions
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication skills in German and in English
