Job Description

To provide information, coordinate events, represent community voices to the organization, and help manage economic development.

CLO Responsibilities

  • Support the Goldwind Construction Project Team and the Community Consultant, Conduct ED reporting
  • Executes the function of ED reporting and ensures compliance with project specific ED requirements and commitments
  • Facilitate a professional relationship between the stakeholders, community leaders and businesses of the area
  • Monitor the adherence to labor recruitment, procurement, and grievance policies for the Project
  • Attend all site-project meetings as an observer
  • Coordinate the recruitment of local labour for the sub-contractors through the approved community jobseeker recruitment methodology
  • Assist in sourcing local SMME and Social Partners proposals and responses thereof
  • Coordinate community engagements
  • Participate in engagements with the taxi association including the negotiation and monitoring of related agreements and meetings
  • Investigate grievances, give feedback and forward to line management to close-off
  • Assist with arrangements of site events as and when requested in liaison with managers on site;

General administration

  • Administration of site company assets, stationery, storage, keep stock levels and records off.
  • Preserving blue skies and white clouds for the future
  • Scheduling and attending meetings while also taking minutes.
  • Keep site visitors register and records.
  • Collect and file all site records and distribute as required
  • Keep records of site invoices and liaise with head offices HR and finance.
  • Supported culture-building and employee engagement initiatives (e.g., welfare gifts, team activities).
  • Managed the distribution of welcome packs for new recruits and handled staff welfare (Christmas and birthday vouchers) to boost employees' engagement.
