Job Description

We are looking for a structured and proactive Project Buyer for a temporary project-based position with the possibility of permanent employment for the right candidate. You will play a key role in managing procurement activities and supporting efficient project execution.

In Norway, Semco Maritime AS is located at Hanøytangen and in Stavanger, where we run our Service & Maintenance department, Rig Tech department and our manpower company. At Hanøytangen we work with rig maintenance and maritime projects while taking an active role in the green shift by developing energy storage and hybrid systems. At other on- & offshore locations we perform service, maintenance and installation work for our international customers.

We are looking to further strengthening our growing organization at Hanøytangen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full Requisition-to-Pay process (from purchase requisition to payment)
  • Create and follow up on purchase orders, including expediting and invoice matching
  • Interface and coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders, suppliers, and clients
  • Identify and manage supply chain risks impacting projects
  • Ensure correct use of procurement templates and documentation
  • Register, store, and distribute procurement-related documentation in relevant systems
  • Maintain and manage the SSA supplier database
  • Support the Procurement Manager as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, preferably in a project-based environment
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
