Job Description
Our RTS Wind Group company Ventus Energy is seeking a skilled Tendering Engineer (m/f/d) to join their dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing successful project acquisitions.
The Tendering Engineer will join a talented team within Ventus Energy's Projects division, responsible for delivering cable jointing, termination & testing and high voltage engineering services, including fault location and repair, across a range of high voltage infrastructure projects, both offshore and onshore.
Requirements
- IT literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint etc.)
- Team player
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Organisation skills
- Familiar with offshore wind terminology and specifications
- Previous experience of tendering in the offshore wind renewables environment
- Attention to detail
- Familiarisation with MS Project
- Understanding of electrical testing
- Understanding of termination and testing in the offshore wind sector
- Contractual understanding
- Commercially astute
- High voltage engineering background
Key Responsibilities
We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to work within our busy tendering team. Based at our North Shields office, your duties will include:
- Turn-key proposal/tendering activities
- Assisting with management of the bid processes
- Appraisal of RFQ documentation to ensure compliance with client requirements
- Host/attend internal, client and supplier meetings
- Coordination and management of proposals
- Creation and Compilation of tender documents
- Liaison with various internal personnel
- Communication with clients
- Submission of proposals
