The Warehouse Coordinator will play an integral part of the overall success of the operations, focusing on making efficiencies through inventory management as well as through coordination of fleet, equipment, and materials for jobs. Branches supported may vary based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time. Being organized, analytical and having strong communication skills will be an asset to this role.

What will you do as a Warehouse Coordinator at Spark Power?

  • Shipping / Receiving duties as required., including loading / unloading of trucks.
  • Inspect incoming goods against purchase orders, record and communicate shortages and/or damages.
  • Maintain internal records pertaining to PO receipts, inventory quantities, inventory allocation.
  • Responsible to ensure the accuracy, availability & maintenance of all Tools, PPE & related supplies.
  • Collaborate very closely with a multitude of different departments, including but not limited to: Project Managers, Branch Managers, Sales, Accounts Payable, Operations & Supply Chain.
  • Stage materials for upcoming jobs and adjust inventory appropriately.
  • Oversee the management of inventory through cycle counting, identifying, and resolving discrepancies through due diligence and making required adjustments.
  • Make process improvement recommendations focused on improving KPIs.
  • Support integration of new systems/companies, through training, systems support, etc....
  • Monitoring Key Performance Indicators, including inventory turns, inventory adjustments, etc.
  • May be required to pick up products from vendors and/or deliver products to sites, and/or travel to other branches.
  • Oversee components of vehicle repair, gas card tracking, maintenance, damage tracking, and accident reporting
  • Support the team to ensure all vehicle collisions are properly reported through our system of record.
  • Coordination and administration of vehicle rentals.
  • Duties as otherwise assigned.

Do you have the Spark? Here's what we're looking for

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in the Electrical Contracting or Construction industry will be considered a strong asset.
  • Intermediate skills with Excel, Outlook, What's app, experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Hardworking, self-starter with the ability to take ownership/accountability over the receiving process, inventory, and shop cleanliness
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment with multiple and changing priorities via a multitude of communications, ie: email, phone, what's app, etc...
  • Experience towing 20-30 ft trailer (standard license)
  • Organized, diligent, and able to track and manage multiple streams of information on an ongoing basis.
  • Good working knowledge of standard methodologies, concepts, best practices, and procedures within a supply chain environment
  • Team player
  • A firm commitment to corporate health and safety practices and policies is essential.
  • Role may require after-hours work.
  • Valid Driver's License with clear abstract
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
