Job Description

The R&D Operational Readiness team plays a critical role in ensuring product readiness and safe product launches when Vestas introduces new wind turbines to the market. We collaborate across the entire value chain to secure alignment, structure, and clarity so that every function - from Engineering to Service - is prepared for upcoming changes. Our work ensures that processes, systems, and stakeholders are fully equipped to perform upgrades and support the introduction of new products. By bridging R&D with operational functions, we translate complex technical developments into actionable, reliable, and scalable execution. We focus on creating predictability, improving governance, and building effective cross-functional collaboration to enable smooth readiness and high-quality deliveries across the organization. As part of the R&D Operational Readiness team, you will play a key role in enhancing data-driven decision making, performance insights, and reporting for a wide range of internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support analysis and reporting activities across R&D Operational Readiness projects
  • Transform data into lessons learned from previous product launches
  • Analyze end-to-end performance to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare and present KPI reports, cost avoidance tracking, and performance metrics
  • Collect, process, and validate data to support decision-making and prioritization
  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and documentation that create clarity for stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, subject matter experts, and operational teams

Qualifications

  • Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or similar
  • Relevant work or internship experience in analytics, operations, or business support
  • Experience with SAP ERP, SAP BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, validation, and transformation
  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Ability to work with large data sets and troubleshoot data integrity issues
  • Experience with data modelling concepts (star schema, fact/dim tables) is valued
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
