Job Description

As a member of our Fund Formation team, you will work closely together with a team consisting of 7 skilled and highly qualified colleagues and get broad and direct exposure to our investors as well as many teams in our CIP Platform, including within Investor Relations, New Business, Deal teams as well as within ESG, Finance and Tax.

You will become part of an agile team, supporting the business through direct interface with some of the most skilled and specialized people within the green energy sector, some of the world's largest institutional investors and global leading advisors.

Role

In the role, you will be involved across many commercial and legal workstreams and gain deep commercial insight into one of the fastest-growing and best-in-class investment fund management companies globally and become an important part of the high-profile development of CIP's exciting and rapid growth journey.

In the role, it is expected that you will work individually and take ownership of tasks with the necessary support from the rest of the team.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to

  • Design and preparation of investment fund formation processes (e.g. commercial design and legal key terms structuring and negotiation, development and negotiation of complex fund and/or product specific documentation including limited partnership agreements etc.)
  • Investor negotiation and onboarding, execution of closings as well as process, transaction and stakeholder management during fundraising processes, etc.
  • Structuring, key term negotiation and formation of evergreens, SMAs, co-investment vehicles, continuation vehicles, sponsor investors etc.
  • Design and negotiation of other relevant CIP products and related agreements and documentation
  • Entity establishment (e.g. documentation, depositary, regulatory registrations etc.)
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with relevant stakeholders and advisors globally
  • Other ad hoc tasks.

You

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Law, Business Law or similar, and a minimum of 5-6 years' relevant experience within e.g. fund formation, private equity, fund management, alternative investment funds or similar.
