Job Description

Looking for a hands-on wind energy role focused on advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting and real field engineering? This position offers the opportunity to work directly with SGRE and Vestas wind turbines on international onshore and offshore projects, supporting both commissioning and service operations.

The role is designed for professionals who enjoy technical problem-solving in field environments, working with turbine data, identifying root causes and delivering effective mechanical, electrical and control system solutions that improve performance and reliability.

Your qualifications

  • Technical education required (for example a diploma as electrical technician / electrician or equivalent technical qualification)
  • Experience in the wind industry as Troubleshooter, Service Technician or Commissioning Engineer
  • Experience with SGRE and/or Vestas turbines is a strong advantage
  • Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and control systems
  • Ability to read technical documentation and schematics
  • Ability to independently diagnose and solve technical issues in the field
  • English at minimum B1 level
  • Driving license (Category B)
  • Willingness to travel and work internationally (onshore/offshore rotations)
  • GWO certificates and OEM training are an advantage
