IoT Cloud Lead Developer
Vensum Power Oy
Company Overview
What They Do
Vensum Power Oy specializes in software-defined power conversion (SDPC) technology, focusing on innovative solutions for the energy sector. The company employs patented techniques such as Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) and Zero Current Switching (ZCS) to significantly reduce switching losses through soft-switching methods (source: vensum.com). Their flagship products are adaptable software-controlled power converters that can decrease conversion losses from 7-10% down to 3-5%, effectively saving over 50% of wasted energy. These converters are designed to deliver up to three times more power from the same footprint and can support higher switching frequencies, making them ideal for various applications in renewable energy systems.
Vensum's technology is particularly beneficial for solar and wind power systems, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, energy storage solutions, DC microgrids, and smart grids (source: eu-startups.com). The company targets a diverse range of markets, including renewable energy manufacturers, EV equipment makers, and grid operators, providing services that span from ideation to product delivery through strategic partnerships (source: vensum.com). Their competitive edge lies in superior scalability, reliability, and digital reconfiguration capabilities, positioning them as leaders in efficiency within green industries.
