We are looking for a sharp and driven Business Systems Consultant - SAP(PP/QM)/MOM/MES to be the bridge between our production floors and our digital backbone.
Curious what this is all about? Let's dive right in:
- You will capture and translate requirements from Production Planning, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams into smart ERP and MOM/MES solutions - configuring master recipes, BOMs, MRP, work centers, and production orders.
- You will drive and support implementation projects including new plant rollouts, MES integrations, and S&OP topics, ensuring seamless go-lives from data migration through to final handover.
- You will coordinate the integration between SAP PP/QM, MOM/MES, quality, and warehouse systems - making sure data flows smoothly from planning all the way to the shop floor.
- You will serve as the go-to expert for 2nd-level support on PP/QM and MOM/MES applications, troubleshooting production orders, capacity planning issues, and shop-floor execution challenges.
- You will identify and champion process improvements in production planning and execution, documenting configurations and integration flows with precision.
- You will actively support continuous improvement and Industry 4.0 initiatives, helping shape the future of smart manufacturing at Sungrow.
Your profile
All right, all right - that was quite the adventure, wasn't it? Now, in order to fit into this role and thrive here for a long time, your ideal background should look a lot like this:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field - and you bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP PP/QM or an equivalent ERP production planning module.
- You are familiar with MOM/MES platforms such as SAP DMC/ME, Siemens Opcenter, or similar systems, and you understand plan-to-produce end-to-end processes inside out.
- You have solid knowledge of shop-floor equipment integration and warehouse system connectivity, and you are comfortable navigating a real manufacturing environment.
- You are analytically strong, process-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with production planners, shop-floor supervisors, and IT teams alike.
- You communicate confidently in Chinese and English (C1 level); German is a plus and always welcome.
- You are structured, proactive, and service-oriented - equally at ease working independently or as part of a cross-functional, multinational team.
Nice to have: Experience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing, knowledge of OEE or lean manufacturing concepts, and exposure to both discrete and process manufacturing scenarios.
